AMLT Medical Laboratory Technology Belmopan The Medical Laboratory Technology program is a three-year Associate’s degree program that prepares individuals to enter into a specialized profession. The program is designed to prepare individuals to perform laboratory test procedures on patient specimens in areas such as clinical chemistry, immunohematology, microbiology, hematology, hemostasis, urinalysis and parasitology. The internship period built into the program allows students to gain experience in the real work environment, while allowing them to develop specialized clinical and technical skills.
ASOW Social Work Belize City A degree in Social Work allows a student to join an increasingly important profession. From villages to rural communities and towns, social workers are at work in public and private sectors, practicing in areas such as child protection, community development, family court, health and mental health, schools, conducting groups, and planning and development of social programs designed to address the complexity of human behavior and the ever-present needs and potentials of people.  Social workers are committed to improving people’s capacities and to creating societal conditions favorable to the growth and development of all.
APHA Pharmacy Belmopan The Associate Degree in Pharmacy is a three year program that is designed to prepare individuals to enter the field of pharmacy practice in Belize. Students are required to take and pass all the professional pharmacy courses as well as complete the practical and clinical components of the program in order to meet graduation requirements. Graduates of this program are prepared for practice in various areas of pharmacy practice including Drug Distribution, Compounding and Manufacturing, Community Pharmacy and Hospital Pharmacy.

BMLS Medical Laboratory Science Belmopan The Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science administered by the Faculty of Nursing, Allied Health, and Social Work is offered in two tracks.  Track 1 is the Transition Program designed for students who hold a Diploma or Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and who have a minimum of two years as a practicing medical laboratory technician. This track is expected to be completed in 1 ½ years and constitutes 1 general core course, 4 support core courses and 8 professional courses. Track 2 is referred to as the new program. Entry requirements for track 2 include a completion of all health science pre-requisite courses, or possession of an Associate Degree in Science or completion of a high school diploma with four (4) C.X.C passes, including English, Math, Biology, and Chemistry.  The first two years of track 2 include general and support core courses.  Years 3 and 4 are dedicated to professional courses where students will have the opportunity to develop practical/clinical competencies through lab courses and internships. The program aims to equip candidates with knowledge and skills that will enable them to render quality medical laboratory services that conform to regional and international standards. Additionally, the program seeks to develop critical thinkers who can communicate effectively, and who make informed decisions, demonstrating strong ethical and moral values.
BNUR Nursing Belmopan The Bachelor Degree in Nursing is a four year program that is intended for self-motivated students who wish to become competent nursing practitioners. This program provides students with the knowledge and understanding of nursing concepts and theories, and allows them to develop skills and attitudes consistent with those of a professional nurse. The program incorporates clinical experiences in all aspects of the health care delivery system, providing the opportunity for students to apply knowledge and become proficient in nursing skills.  It prepares the graduate for independent, professional practice in all aspects of health care delivery. In order to meet requirement of graduation students must earn a GPA of 2.0 with an average of 2.5 for professional core courses. The minimum grade for a professional core course is C. Also required is a grade of C for general core: Math and English courses and support core courses.
BPHA Pharmacy Belmopan The Bachelor of Pharmacy administered by the Faculty of Nursing, Allied Health, and Social Work is offered in two tracks.  Track 1 is the Transition Program designed for students who hold a Diploma or Associate Degree in Pharmacy and who have a minimum of two years practicing as a license pharmacist.  Track 1 is expected to be completed in 1 ½ years and will include general, support, and professional courses, including a clinical clerkship.  Track 2 is referred to as the new program.  Entry requirements for track two include a completion of all health science pre-requisite courses, or possession of an Associate Degree in Science or completion of a high school diploma with four (4) C.X.C passes, including English, Math, Biology, and Chemistry. The first two years of track 2 include health science preparatory courses which are mostly general and support core courses. Years 3 and 4 include professional core courses, many of which include lab components that will allow students to develop practical/clinical competencies. Year 5 includes supervised internships I and II.

The Bachelor of Pharmacy program aims to produce highly ethical, competent, and knowledgeable graduates capable of providing quality pharmaceutical services that conforms to national and international standards.  The program underscores the importance of developing critical thinkers who are effective managers, educators, and skilled communicators meeting pharmaceutical needs.

CMID Midwifery Belmopan This is an intensive cohort –based three semester program for post RN/BsN and PN to provide specialized Reproductive Health Services for women, neonates and their families. The program is delivered in a modular approach The student must be a licensed practitioner with a minimum of three years’ experience to be eligible for this program. Laboratory sessions are built throughout the program of studies. Field practicum in second and final semester allows students to gain experiences in a variety of settings while allowing them to develop the competencies needed for the beginning level Midwife. On completion of the program, the individual is required by law to sit and pass the Nurses and Midwives Council of Belize Licensure Examination.
CPRN Nursing Belmopan This is an intensive cohort-based 18 months program designed for students who hold a high school diploma in Science. This program comprises of only professional core courses and a 16 weeks Supervised Clinical Practicum.  The aim of this program is to develop competent and caring practitioners who will deliver quality and culturally competent basic nursing care, under supervision of a registered nurse to the individuals across the lifespan.
CPNP Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Belmopan This is an intensive cohort-based 18 months program designed for students who possess a RN/BSN license with a minimum of two years of experience as a RN. This program is designed to provide specialized mental health to individuals across the life span. This program of study incorporates didactic and clinical components. The aim of this program is to prepare students who will function independently and interdependently with health team members, utilizing evidence-based practice to guide in the provision of culturally competent nursing care to members of the population.
