The University of Belize offers access to the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Program, providing professional training in research ethics, compliance, and safety. This program is designed for academic staff, graduate students, undergraduate students, and honorary researchers at UB. CITI certification is required for those wishing to submit research proposals to the Institutional Review Board (IRB).

General Courses: Information Privacy and Security, Responsible Conduct of Research, Conflicts of Interest.
Specialized Courses: Animal Care and Use, Good Clinical Practice, Human Subjects Research (Biomedical and Social/Behavioral), and IRB Member Training for those involved in review board activities.

Course Recommendations
