UBSOM Research Agenda
Driving Research Aligned with Belize’s Health Goals, UN SDGs & Regional Priorities
Harmonized with Government of Belize’s Health Statistics, the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and Caribbean and Central American Health Research Priorities, the University of Belize’s Research Agenda is dedicated to addressing critical health challenges in Belize and the region. Our research focuses on noncommunicable and communicable diseases, maternal and child health, mental health, hospital medicine, health systems and policy, environmental health, and community health. By aligning with national and international priorities, we aim to generate impactful, evidence-based solutions that improve healthcare delivery, strengthen health systems, and enhance overall well-being.
