Certificate of Mandarin as a Foreign Language (CMFL)
Introducing the Certificate of Mandarin as a Foreign Language (CMFL), meticulously crafted for Belizean natives and global learners eager to master Mandarin while delving into the rich tapestry of Taiwanese culture. Designed to empower students with linguistic fluency and cultural appreciation, the CMFL program spans three dynamic semesters, each comprising one or more proficiency levels.
The course is for students with little or no knowledge of Mandarin. This course will mainly focus on TOCFL(Test of Chinese Foreign Language), Novice to Low Intermediate level. This course is designed to test Chinese language learners' ability to use the language in daily life, and can also serve to meet Mandarin language requirements for the "Taiwan Scholarship Application”. Students will acquire basic vocabulary and constructions of Mandarin sentences that will enable students with a sound basis for their future studies.

Translation costs
RLC Linguistic Services Protocol
To ensure transparency, please find below the established RLC protocols for managing translation services:
Request Intake: Upon receiving a client request, two options are offered:
a) Standard Service (4 business days turnaround)
b) Express Service (within 48 hours of receipt)
Document Submission: Clients submit their documents either electronically or in person. Documents are then forwarded to the translator.
Initial Translation & Review: Once the translation is completed, it is returned to the RLC office for quality assurance and certification.
Client Notification: The client is informed that the document is ready for pickup. They are also reminded to bring the original document for final verification.
(If the client insists on receiving an electronic copy and delays in collecting the original, the final verification is deferred until collection.)
Final Verification & Closure: If no further corrections are required and the client approves the final document, the case is considered closed.
Document Retention: The RLC stores a digital copy for three months, after which it is deleted for confidentiality.
Reissuance Policy:
a) If requested within three months, a certified copy is provided at a fee.
b) After three months, the full translation process must be repeated at the standard fee.
