Accessing your Student Insurance

Every student who registers at the University of Belize is automatically covered by the university’s accident insurance plan with the Insurance Corporation of Belize, ICB. The accident insurance covers students twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week as long as they are registered at the university. Students are covered whether they are on campus or at home, traveling to any of UB’s campuses, or on a UB club or class trip. Students are even covered on weekends and holidays in and outside Belize. More details of the plan’s coverage for accidents are outlined below. The University of Belize is proud to partner with the Insurance Corporation of Belize Ltd. (ICB) to offer the PERSONAL ACCIDENT POLICY (P.A.P.) to all UB Students.
