Your education is a dominant element of our daily goals and activities. At the Office of The Registrar we work collaboratively to ensure that you receive timely and quality service in obtaining academic information.

We offer support to faculty, staff, students and alumni of the University of Belize. This office assists with:

  • orientation for students and faculty;
  • preparation of course schedules and exam schedules;
  • registration and maintenance of student portal;
  • updating and maintaining the student management system;
  • monitoring grade entry and managing Quicktools;
  • preparing transcripts and letters on behalf of students;
  • preparing graduation clearance;
  • graduation clearance and degree preparation;
  • degree and transcript verification (contact [email protected]);
  • updating the academic calendar;
  • updating the University Catalog.

The office is also responsible to provide statistical reports on enrollment data, graduates, courses and programs and maintain records of all data. These services are offered through three sites, Belize City, Belmopan and Punta Gorda Records Offices, or online by emailing [email protected].

As the University Registrar, Mrs. Pineda is responsible for:

  • Supervising/Overseeing the Admissions, Records, and Examination Unit.
  • Signing documents/daily requests on behalf of the University e.g. degrees, transcripts, letters, progress reports, etc.
  • Verifying documents: degrees and transcripts.
  • Overseeing/Coordinating the Examination Process, including the examination schedule for all campuses.
  • Semester Class Schedules and the registration process.
  • The Academic Calendar.
  • The overall Administration of the Student Management System and Provide Statistical Data.
  • Liaising with Deans and Chairs regarding Schedules, Adjunct, Registration, Graduation and overall student query.
