University Registrar

Your education is a dominant element of our daily goals and activities. At the Office of The Registrar we work collaboratively to ensure that you receive timely and quality service in obtaining academic information.

We offer support to faculty, staff, students and alumni of the University of Belize.  This office assists with orientation for students and faculty;

  • preparation of course schedules and exam schedules,
  • deals with registration and maintenance of student portal,
  • update and maintain the student management system,
  • monitoring grade entry and manage Quicktools
  • prepare transcripts and letters on behalf of students,
  • prepare graduation clearance
  • update academic calendar,
  • Graduation clearance and degree preparation

  • updating of the University Catalog.

The office is also responsible to provide statistical reports on enrollment data, graduates, courses and programs and maintain records of all data.  These services are offered through three sites, Belize City, Belmopan and Punta Gorda Records Offices, or email [email protected]/website_189aff00.

As the University Registrar, Mrs. Pineda is responsible for:
  • The Supervision/oversight of both the Admissions, Records and Examination Unit
  • Sign documents/daily requests on behalf of the University e.g. Degree, transcripts, letters, progress reports…
  • Responsible for verification of documents: degree and transcript
  • Oversight/Coordinate the Examination Process including the examination schedule for all campus
  • Semester Class Schedule and Registration process
  • Academic Calendar
  • Overall Administration of the Student Management System and Provide Statistical Data
  • Liaise  with Deans and Chairs regarding Schedules, Adjunct, Registration, Graduation and overall student query
