The University of Belize Hosted a Four-Day Competency-Based Learning Workshop
The University of Belize hosted a Four-Day Competency-Based Learning Workshop on June 24th -27th 2024, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education. Led by expert facilitators from the University of Texas at Tyler, this workshop is tailored for pre-primary and primary school educators, curriculum developers, and education leaders across Belize.
It is designed to enhance education quality through Competency-Based Learning, this workshop will explore:
– Principles and benefits of CBL
– Effective strategies for implementation
– Development of competency-based assessments
– Collaboration and best practice sharing
